I really cannot believe how easy it is to use a virtual private network. I’m not very “computer literate” but when a friend showed me how to install and use a VPN, I was incredibly surprised, especially after he explained to me how they worked. I was skeptical that such a service existed that not only provided high security encryption but enabled its users to re-direct their IP address to make it seem like they were located in another country in order to gain access to websites that were unavailable in their own country. But, much to my surprise, after using a VPN during a free trial period, everything was easy to use and I didn’t encounter any problems.
I’m not very politically active, but even I have followed the news about the United States government and the NSA spying on its own citizens on the internet. The very thought of someone going through my browsing history or monitoring my emails is just incredibly creepy, which is why I’m glad my friend told me about VPNs. He showed me a number of popular VPNs, all with stellar reputations, which would be great for me to use in order to protect my identity and my personal information online. He helped me install it, but after a couple days I was easily able to navigate the software and have even tried out a couple of the advanced features.
Perhaps the most surprising thing to me is how affordable everything was. After my free trial period ended, all I had to do was pay a little over $8/month! And there are even cheaper VPNs available, I just picked my VPN because I was already familiar with it. I’m definitely glad my friend showed me how to use a VPN and I’m incredibly satisfied with what it has enabled me to do.
Call me a little paranoid, but when my wife wanted to send me pictures of our 4 year old daughter and 2 year old sun playing at the beach I almost had a heart attack. I was overseas on business for a week and she thought it would be nice to send what I’d missed over the weekend.
I’m not in the habit of making best lists, but here’s my 3 best free VPN service software reviews you should check out:
VPNBook – This doesn’t come with any distracting bells or whistles, but it packs a lot of punch in terms of reliability and service ipvanish. This gives you PPTP support, meaning that it works on mobile devices and all modern operating systems. As long as you aren’t looking for special features this is a solid choice for most users.
CyberGhost VPN – This comes with a paid version which give you more options and access to more servers, but for the average web user the free version is more than enough. The built-in Windows client helps you get started quickly, and the fourteen servers this free version gives you access to is more than enough.
proXPN – This VPN service software is perfect for anyone who can’t stand being bombarded by those annoying pop up ads. This also comes in a premium package with more bandwidth, but 300 kbps per month for this free version is more than enough for most regular web users.
You want to do your own research or un vpn c’est quoi ?, but this is a great place to start if you’re a regular web user like me. Be sure to try these free VPN service software reviews options for great service without having to pay a premium price to protect your identity.
I’m a world traveler. I conduct business wherever I go because my services are offered online like my cloud backup storage which is the MyPCBackup, (is my pc backup the best cloud backup? check it out) where they are easily accessible to anyone and everyone. I often visit a country for a few weeks and move along to the next because it’s something I like to do and happen to have a passion for. There have always been obstacles in my journey, but nothing major has ever happened to me before. I was never profoundly concerned about my safety because I didn’t think I had a reason to be.
Contrary to my lack of concern, most recently someone found their way into my secondary bank account and cleaned it out thoroughly, down to the last few cents. I had thirty four cents left in that particular account, luckily my primary bank account was not touched. I was devastated, yet thankful it happened because it taught me the value of privacy and security. I refused to allow such a thing to happen again.
I consulted my lawyer in regard to getting my money back, catching the thief, and preventing such a thing from ever happening again. He assured me it likely wouldn’t if I did some research and checked out proxy servers and VPN services to keep me safe from hackers and online identity thieves.
To me, it was great news and I immediately began to conduct research on my own. I stumbled upon the HideMyASS proxy service with Pro VPN service. Is hidemyass the best vpn? After reading excellent HideMyAss review I was sold! I bought the reasonably priced Pro VPN software and learned how to surf the web and conduct my business online without the threat of someone stealing my information and using it for their own selfish purposes.
I’ve managed to recover from the identity theft, and I feel much safer using HideMyAss to cover me, visit this page http://www.vpnmag.co.uk/hidemyass/ for more about hidemyass. The friends and family members I have recommended it to it are just as satisfied as I am. I definitely encourage you to consider this HideMyAss review to be honest and try it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! For any further information visit the link as http://www.vpnmag.co.uk/blacklogic-vpn-review/
